Settling Back In and Early Summer Blooms

Cottage life is starting to feel more normal. The summer cycle of growing things and life on the water is continuing as usual. 

 

Inside the cottage - June 2025

 It was well into June before we could were able to clean up and arrange the inside of the cottage for the summer. 

The smoke from the wildfire had left a thin layer of ash on every surface. The smell and grime seemed to penetrate all the fabrics as well as surfaces.
